Osteopathy is now recognised as an effective treatment for a wide range of painful disorders. It helps restore the function of the musculoskeletal system (joints, muscles and ligaments) The aim is to relieve pain and get you going again as quickly as possible. Patients of all ages can obtain benefit. The treatment is tailored to suit.

The Treatment

Osteopathic treament consists of gentle manipulation and stretching of the muscles, ligaments and joints. Treatment is not painful and rarely uncomfortable.

Gait Analysis

gait4.gifDiagnosis of altered foot mechanics using state of the art computerised Gaitscan. Gaitscan is a sytem designed to analyse your foot mechanics both static and dynamic. Walking over a plate with a grid of pressure sensors reveals if your feet are supporting you correctly. Prescribed orthotics (inserts) are an excellent solution to supporting collapsing (pronating) feet.
Who benefits? In particular anyone with ongoing foot, knee, hip and back pain that does not resolve after treatment and exercise.
