About the Find an Osteopath Service

Find an Osteopath is a concept and service that has been provided by Nimbus Commerce Solutions Ltd since January 2001 for the benefit of both the general public and qualified osteopaths - members of this service subscribe to Nimbus Commerce Solutions terms and conditions of use of the service.

Since April 2006 this service has become independent and open to Osteopaths who are not specifically members of any osteopathic organisation allowing Osteopaths from outside of the United Kingdom as well to join the community of qualified Osteopaths.

Only osteopaths which we can validate as genuine and qualified are added to our database. This usually means checking credentials against governing bodies or recognised organisations, for example the GOsC (General Osteopathic Council) in the UK

This site allows anyone to find an osteopath in an area close to them, providing contact details, further information about each practitioner and services available.

Members can create, edit and update their own web pages through a specially designed interface. This allows them to keep regularly updated information available for their patients.

Many Osteopaths have a link out to their own websites as well - because we can't verify the content of every website, we do have to put a disclaimer notice in place. This in no way reflects on the professionalism of the practitioner in question.

This service is built by Nimbus Commerce, a web design company whose main belief is that every small business should have a web site.
