Overview
Your site is divided in to 6 sections (or paragraphs). Each section allows you to add up to 900 characters of text. Each section can be edited through the 'Edit my Site Content' section, which will be available as a link from the members home page only after upgrading. The sections are laid out according to the template you have chosen but invariably follow the page downwards with section 1 at the top through to section 6. When editing your text  it is advisable that you view your site as you go to determine the best place to add your text. This can usually be done by opening another browser window (choose 'New Window' from the 'File' menu) and opening your site (type your web site address in the address bar and press return).
The text editor allows you to add a title for each section, add up to 900 characters of text and choose a font (type face), text size, and text colour.
The Editing Page
To the right you will see an image of the Content editing page. We have labelled the main sections, '1', '2', '3', '4' & '5'. These sections are defined as follows:
- Section Menu: Use this menu to navigate between all 6 sections.
- Text editor: Use this section to add and edit your text your text. [Details below]
- Picture Upload: Use this section to upload and edit picture settings for your site. [Click here to see separate help article in how to add pictures to your site.]
- Font Settings: Change the type face, text size and text colour of each section
- SAVE: AFTER EDITING OR ADDING YOUR TEXT YOU MUST PRESS 'SAVE' BEFORE EDITING ANOTHER PAGE!!!
 Editing/Adding Text
To the left, we have added another image of the editing section focusing on the text edit area. The key areas identified on the image are defined as follows:
- Title bar: This indicates which section you are currently editing.
- Section Title: This text field allows you to add a title for this section. If you find that no title is needed, you should leave this blank.
- Main Text: in this text area you will add your text for this section.
- Character Countdown: This shows the number of characters you have remaining for this text area.
- Type Face Management: Use the three drop down menus to select a type face (font), colour and size for your text.
- SAVE: The save button must be pressed when you have finished adding/editing your text!
Modifying/Formatting your text
When adding or editing text you may wish to add formatting to it. By this, we mean make text bold, italic, or underlined, for example. This is possible through the use of simple HTML code (the language in which all web site are written). To achieve an effect you will need to add 'Tags' at either end of the word or phrase you want to effect. Tags are enclosed in lessthan (<) and greaterthan (>) brackets. Many tags must be 'closed' to indicate the end of the effected section. A closing tag is often the repeat of an opening tag but with a slash (/) after the lessthan bracket. Below you will find a table of which tags do what and examples of their use:
